Pixels (aka web beacons/web bugs/java script)

Unlike cookies, which are stored on a computer’s hard drive, pixels are small graphics that are about the size of the period at the end of the sentence that are embedded invisibly on web pages or in HTML-based emails. Our third party analytics provider may place pixels on the Site that track what other websites you visit (both before and after visiting the Site). Our third party analytics providers use information obtained from pixels to help us improve our business and the Site. We do not control the use of pixels by third parties.
Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Service, such as the links you click on. Ridesharing and Trip Tracking
Once you are registered, you may submit or we may collect information on trips you take. This may include the mode of travel, the origin address, the destination address, the date and time of the trip and the distance travelled. For certain ridesharing services, we collect additional information, including, but not limited to, the origin, the route, the destination, rating information, date and time of your rides, the riders in your car if you are a driver, the driver of your car if you are a rider, or the number of Ride Credits charged or credited to your Account.
When you utilize features provided by the Service, information you provide may be shared with other users and Networks without requiring any further approval from you. For example, to facilitate the formation of a carpool, the service may share your name, email address, phone number, home and work address with other users having similar locations. Similarly, to facilitate a bike incentive provided by your employer or your regional agency partner, these Networks have access to your trips and can see whether you took any bike trips and if you qualify for the bike incentive. To promote alternative modes of transportation or mobility programs, your trip reduction and emission saving achievements calculated through your trips may be published on the site along with your name and employer. Your current location as reported by your mobile phone may be shared with riders in your car so they know when you will arrive. These examples are not exhaustive and merely illustrate some ways your information may be shared.
Important Note – We convert the locations you enter or we collect into Latitude and Longitude co-ordinates which are public and which may be shown as a location on the map to users who find your trip as a match. Please note that the Latitude, Longitude co-ordinates we acquire have a high degree of precision (may be a few yards or meters from the locations you entered) and thus may be traceable to your home, your work place or your current location. If you want to avoid this high degree of precision for your locations, you may provide a more general street address without house number, cross streets or intersections, or a near public location you know.
